English Program Summer University
in April and May each Year

Spend your holidays with students from all over the world and learn with western university professors!

High school students who want to study an international program or even abroad after graduating at high school often spend their summer holidays in language schools and with tutors. At IIS-RU, you study in a truly international environment in the same classes as our students do. Due to the many foreign students who cannot speak Thai, English is the normal language of communication.

Our experience is that these means do not prepare well for studying in an international program since only too often the focus is on grammar instead of communication.

In April each year, during the Summer Term, the introductory 3-credit English courses are offered to our international students. We guess, it might be much more successful for Mathayom 4 to 6 students (or equivalent, such as U.S. High School Diploma grade 9 and higher) when they have a chance to learn and practice, English in an international environment and in an environment they learn for. Therefore, IIS-RU recommends for secondary high school students the following courses:

EN101 Basic Sentences and Essential Vocabulary
EN102 Sentences and Vocabulary in General Use

You are not limited to these two English courses. Certainly, summer university students can study all other courses offered in the summer semester as well. Here you find an overview.

You join classes with our international students and study with our Western professors.

You prepare yourself when study with that many cultures. Study abroad will be much easier for you!

You receive your own student ID card as a university student (issued in August each year).

You pay the same tuition fee as our students do. Ramkhamhaeng University is famous for its low fees.

All courses in the summer session are 3-credit courses. These credits you can transfer to any university world-wide.

You learn English there where you want to practice it - within a really international environment. English is our standard language since the foreign students don't speak Thai.
