IIS-RU Student and Hochschule RheinMain exchange students joined “The Dek Ram Inter…Pan Din” at Wiang Haeng District in Chiang Mai Province

The Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University organized Community Volunteer Service to the local community “Dek Ram Inter…Pan Din Project” or Mud Brick House Building Project for Sustainable Development at Plekwiwek Dhamma Center, Wiang Haeng District in Chiang Mai Province from 28th April to 2nd May 2015.

In this occasion, IIS-RU students, exchange students from IIS partner university Hochschule RheinMain Wiesbaden from Germany and IIS-RU staffs participated in this activity.

Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University supports the community volunteer service to encourage IIS-RU student to work in remote area and participate in the local communities. The purpose of this project emphasizes on bringing the academic knowledge and charitable spirit activity to contribute the society and encourage student to have social responsibility. As a result of the volunteer experience, the students were expected to become more civic-minded and more awareness toward local community and society.
