“Academic Service 2015” on 18 January 2016, teaching English for students in the lower

secondary levelat Li Thai Phittayakhom School, Mueang District, Sukhothai Province.

Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University organized “Academic Service 2015” on 18 January 2016, teaching English for students in the lower secondary level at Li Thai Phittayakhom School, Mueang District, Sukhothai Province. On this occasion, the Director of IIS-RU, Mr. Satin Soonthornpan, Dr. Michela De Gennaro, as well as IIS staffs and students both domestically and internationally from IIS involved in this community development.

This activity was organized in a naturalistic setting, aiming at providing young learners of English language with ample opportunities for exposure to the English language and interaction with native-speakers and learns English in relaxing learning atmosphere through various methods of English language instruction, such as games, songs, and puzzles. The objectives and expected outcomes of this teaching activity were to expand students’ English vocabulary and conversational skills for their further education.
