Application Process for Graduate Programs

You apply from outside Thailand?

You may apply by mail with all required papers and pictures (as described for applicants from within Thailand below), or you may choose the simplified application process by e-mail.

This simplified application process applies for applicants of any nationality applying from outside Thailand only.

Please download the Application Form for the program of your choice, complete it, and send it together with a recent photo per e-mail to IIS-RU.

If accepted, you will receive a Letter of Admission or Acceptance. With this letter, you get a student visa at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country.

At the day of registration, you have to submit the papers and pictures as described in the process for applicants within Thailand below. Then, you also can pay the application fee (see below).

You apply from Thailand?

  1. This process applies to applicants of any nationalitywho apply for a program within Thailand. Please note that your application in this case is considered complete only after payment of the application fee (see below).
  2. Please download the Application Formfor the program of your choice.
  3. The following documents are to be submitted for the completion of your admission:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.   Submit 3 photocopies of official Bachelor transcript record and diploma (for applicant of Master program).

2.   Submit 3 photocopies of official Bachelor and Master Degrees transcript records and diplomas (for applicant of PhD program).

3.   Submit 6 color photos wearing shirt or suit (2-inch in size for Graduate Student and must be taken within 6 months prior to the application).

4.   Submit original document indicating medical fitness (Medical Certificate).

5.   Submit 3 photocopies of the ID card (for Thai citizens and permanent residents only).

6.   Submit 3 photo copies of residence registration (for Thai citizens and permanent residents only).

7.   Submit 3 photocopies of Passport for foreign student (Translated version from Translation Center, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University or Ramkhamhaeng Institute of Languages (RIL), Ramkhamhaeng University only is required).

8.   A certificate of international standardized test such as a minimum TOEFL IBT of 78 points or a minimum IELTS of 6.0, if applicable (TOEIC is not accepted as a proof of English proficiency)

  1. You may apply in person or send your application documents by mail (in case you apply in person, please find here the IIS-RU location map). 
  2. The application forms for all study centersare processed at IIS-RU in Ramkhamhaeng University, Bangkok. Applying in person, therefore, means that you come to the office of IIS-RU in Bangkok. Whether you apply in person or send your application document by mail, in both cases, the address is as follows:

  1. Application fee for Master degree programs is 1,200 THB

Application fee for Doctoral degree programs is 9,000 THB
