Muhammad D. Araf, 27 years old, originally came from Nigeria joined Double Degree Program in Master of Arts in Media and Design Management at HSRM-Wiesbaden, Germany in 2013.

The Master Double Degree program is a simple and awesome idea of educating students across cultures and creating talents in different fields. Being part of two great Universities like the Hocschule RheinMain (HS-RM) and the Institute of International Studies, Rhamkamhaeng University (IIS-RU) is a life changing experience for me. Both Universities have their unique strategies of passing knowledge to their students.

The HS-RM media and design management campus is located in the beautiful city of Wiesbaden with lots of interesting things to see and extracurricular activities to do. The staffs and students of the HS-RM are polite, disciplined, and helpful in all aspects much similar to IIS-RU in Bangkok. The courses offered by the HS-RM are interesting and engaging coupled with several field trips that expose the students about media management.

Nevertheless, there is sufficient free time in between studies that international students can utilize by travelling and having the best experience of the German culture and Europe as a whole or get jobs and career experiences that will be useful in a lifetime. I have personally learned a lot not only about my studies but also about life and different cultures through the Double Degree program and I am grateful for the opportunity.
