Lea Clemensoriginally came from Wiesbaden, an exchange student at IIS-RU in 2015, originally from Hochschule RheinMain, University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden Rüsselsheim (HSRM-Wiesbaden), Germany

I came in January 2015 to Bangkok for studying at Ramkhamhaeng University. I am staying here for about 4 month and it is the greatest experience I have ever made. The warm-harted thai people, the interesting courses an the university, the new culture, the typical thai food and the fresh fruits, all these little things make my semester abroad to an unforgetable time. And I would recommend it, to every student!

Traveling to Bangkok, Thailand has been a great opportunity. Thanks to the buddy-program I have met amazing people who showed us Bangkok the way a tourist could never experience it. Studying at the Ramkhamhaeng University was not only exciting but also very interesting.

Edmond Roquigny, an exchange student at IIS-RU in 2014-2015 from EDC Paris Business School, France.

I arrived in June for one year in Bangkok. I felt really quickly integrated in the university and Thailand’s lifestyle. The people here are very helpful.

I’ve meet a lot of people who came from all around the world; it’s very interesting. After the university life, you have the opportunity to travel around Thailand but also in this country because there are so many things to see.

It’s a very good experience and I would like to say thanks to every people who helped me to realize this exchange.

Studying abroad in Bangkok at the Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University (IIS-RU) is much fun. Especially the buddy program is a really good idea. I like to make new experiences every single day. I want to come back for sure. Thanks for everything.

Arthur Maloisel, an exchange student at IIS-RU in 2014-2015 from EDC Paris Business School, France

Doing an academic exchange for one year in IIS-RU was a wonderful experience.

Considering the academic level, I had to work as a group with people from all around the world. This allowed me to discover and understand different cultures within a working environment.

Studying with native English teachers made me improve my English level. It also was interesting to have an overview of the business philosophy of teacher from different countries such as Cuba, USA, Denmark etc.

The integration within the social life in the university was very easy. The Thai student were all very helpful for every issue you can have and are very likely to be friend and discover our culture.

The administration is also very helpful with exchange students. They helped me for the VISA issue, to select and register the subject I’ve chosen.

The administration of IIS also organized a volunteer day in which I went to teach English young monk in a temple. This experience was really amazing.

Talking about life outside the university, Bangkok is a wonderful city with so many things to see, do and discover.

The location of Bangkok allows traveling within and outside Thailand very easily and for little money.

I would like to thank every person who made this exchange program possible and every person that made it amazing.
