Kansai University Visits IIS-RU

The Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University (IIS-RU) was pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Hiroshi Tamura, Associate Dean of Division of International Affairs, Director of Japan-EU Research Center, and Faculty of Chemistry concentrated in Materials and Bioengineering and Mr. Takeichi Manabu, Assistant Section Chief, Division of International Affairs from Kansai University, Japan on September 6, 2016.

Prof. Dr. Tamura and Mr. Manabu were keen to hear about programs the institute offers, including duration of study that students are expected to complete in each course. Mr. Satin Soonthornpan, Director and Dr. Michela De Gennaro, IIS-RU Faculty member described that the institute applied the studies of block course system and accepts exchange student application throughout the year. Prof. Dr. Tamura also gave an overview of Kansai University, the offering program, and an explanation of Intensive Japanese Language and Culture Course (IJLC). After presentation, both colleges discussed about the academic collaboration in further details. 

In this occasion, IIS-RU staff leaded the campus tour and provided a general overview of the academic and student life at IIS-RU to Prof. Dr. Tamura and his associate.
