Mass Communication students of IIS-RU visit at MCOT TV and Radio stations

IIS-RU staffs and Mass Communication students of MCS4480 (Radio and Television for Society), MCS3460 (Radio Programming) and MCS1251 (Evolution of Multimedia Journalism) classes, conducted by Assoc. Prof. Micheal McAlexander, visited Mass Communication Organization of Thailand (MCOT) TV and radio stations in Bangkok on Thursday 11th January 2018. The students toured organization workplaces and learned a lot about roles, functions and influence of radio and television, responsibilities toward the society, types of TV and radio programing, and experienced live broadcasting at the stations. The field trip helped developing students’ visual literacy and gave precious experiences of integrated picture of the information and had opportunity to know the organization in case if they will interest to apply for internship in the future.
