Academic Service Project for Society 2019

The Committee of Academic Service Project for Society of the Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University (IIS-RU) organized the academic project of the academic year 2018 on the title “English Sentences and Vocabulary in General Use”. This project was organized on Wednesday 30 January, 2019 at the Auditorium on 9 Floor of Printing Press Building. There were 70 students and 7 teachers from 4 schools attended the project. These schools comprised of Tepleela School, Santichon Islamic School, Udomsuksa School, and Matthayom Banbangkapi School.

Three of lecturers for Bachelor of Arts in English (International Program) including Lect. Surawate Tocharoen, Lect. Orpheus Sebastian Stephens, and Lect. Ian James Sanderson, served as teachers who attempted to prepare the lesson and design instructional materials to suit the students’ level of English language proficiency. The objectives of this academic service project were two-fold. Firstly, it aimed to offer specific knowledge regarding English sentences and vocabulary in general use for students in surrounding community. Secondly, it attempted to provide the opportunity for students to practice English language skills with English native teachers.
