The Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University (IIS-RU) organized “International Day 2018” on Monday 16 July 2018 from 12.30 pm. – 16.00 pm. at the 2 Floor Auditorium, Srisuttha Building, Faculty of Political Science, Ramkhamhaeng University.
The objectives of this event were threefold which can be specified as follows: (1) to provide opportunities for students to learn about international cultures; (2) to provide opportunities for students to better understand about people’s way of life in ASEAN and international communities; and (3) to develop the skills in relation to self-responsibility and learn how to work collaboratively with other people.
Regarding the spectacular performances for this event, these included the dance of Thai ethnic group performed by the Thai Classical Dance Club of Ramkhamhaeng University; performances by the students of IIS-RU; the classical masked dance or Khon in the story of Ramayana performed by the Thai Classical Dance Club of Ramkhamhaeng University; and the RU Musical Band presented by the Musical Club of Ramkhamhaeng University.
This was an opportune time for such a gathering for executive committee, lecturers, staffs, and students to learn and share the respective cultures from overseas countries through the performances, foods, and costumes.
