The Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University (IIS-RU) organized the Conservation Project for Thai Arts and Culture, held on Thursday, 15 February, 2018 at Amphawa Chipattananurak Conservation Project, Amphoe Amphawa, Samut Songkhram Province.
This project was a part of the course HIS1201: Foundations of Thai Culture. The objectives of this project were twofold: (1) to support and promote Thai arts and culture and (2) to raise students’ awareness to conserve Thai arts and culture. During the project, students participated in the four major activities including cooking the delectable imitation fruits (Kanom Look Choup), cooking golden threads (Kanom Foy Thong), cooking butterfly-pea leaf water (Nam Muang Chuen) and making carps and balls from coconut leaf.
